A visit to Bhutan takes you back in a time machine: to a world where wild trees grow not fearing the axe of the logger, where the fish still bask the sun on moist rocks. The groan of vehicles has not subdued the echoing ring of the prayer wheels that chat peace from ridges. Industrial smoke doesn’t blow away the morning blessings of rare herbal smoke that rise from the prayer hearths of homes and centuries old monasteries.
